Pontoon Picnic Table

Designed and built a floating picnic table pontoon using 55-gallon HDPE barrels and a reinforced frame to support a full-size table and multiple passengers. The pontoon completed a full Salt River run (Water Users → Exit 4) carrying four people, maintaining stability and buoyancy with only minor dents and no structural failures. Total build cost stayed under $100.
